What Veyrant does with what you type.

The item, its price and category, and your answers to the eight questions are sent to Anthropic’s API, which produces the five readings and the final answer. That is the only reason they leave your browser.

Veyrant does not write any of it to its own database. When you close the tab, the product, your rule and your answers are gone from the page. They are not attached to a profile, because there is no profile to attach them to.

A screenshot you add is read in your browser and sent with the same request, for the same reason. It is not stored.

If you paste a product link, Veyrant’s server fetches that page to read the listing. The request goes out from the server, not from your browser, so the shop sees Veyrant asking rather than you.

Veyrant keeps daily totals so it can tell whether the thing works. Counts only, never content:

• That a page was viewed, and that a check was started and finished
• Which discovery source you picked, from the eight fixed options
• Whether you wrote a personal rule at all, as a yes or no, never the rule itself
• Which of the five outcomes came back
• Which of the three decisions you recorded at the end, if you recorded one
• Whether a share card was saved, copied or shared

The product, the price, the brand, and every word you wrote are excluded by design. Nothing in that list can be traced back to a purchase you were considering.

One cookie, named if_vid. It holds a random identifier, nothing else. It exists so a return visit is not counted as a new person. It cannot be read by scripts, it lasts a year, and clearing it resets you to a stranger.

A second, short-lived cookie is set only on the private founder page, and only for whoever holds the passphrase.

Your IP address is used to apply two limits: a rate limit that stops scripted abuse, and the allowance of 5 checks a day. It is held as a counter key that expires shortly after midnight UTC, and it is never attached to your answers or to a result.

If, and only if, you submit the form shown when the daily limit runs out, Veyrant stores your email address, the option you picked, and the time you first joined. Nothing from your checks goes with it.

It is kept until you ask for it to be removed, and it is used to write to you about Veyrant. It is not sold, rented or passed on.

• Anthropic, which runs the model that reads your answers and writes the result
• Vercel, which hosts the site, plus Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for page views and loading performance
• Upstash, which runs the store holding the daily counts, the limits and the waitlist
• Any shop whose product link you paste, which receives a request from Veyrant's server

Each handles data under its own terms, and Veyrant sends them only what is listed above.

• No account, no password, no name, no payment details
• No advertising, no ad networks, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting
• No selling or sharing of anything you enter
• No profile of your purchases, and no email about a specific thing you checked

To have your address taken off the waitlist, or to ask anything about this page, write to veyrant@proton.me. Removal is the only request that needs anything from you, because it is the only place an address is held.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Veyrant is in early access and run by one person, so it is short on purpose and accurate on purpose.
